Amyloidosis is a metabolic disease in which amyloid protein is deposited in various organs and destroys them. The most frequent location of systemic amyloidois are the kidneys. In this case study we report a 48-year-old man who was admitted to hospital due to generalized oedema, proteinuria and pneumonia.
