SŁOWA KLUCZOWE
STRESZCZENIE
Oznaczono aktywności względną kleszczy Ixodes ricinus na różnych stanowiskach leśnych makroregionu lubelskiego oraz określono zależność pomiędzy aktywnością względną kleszczy a stopniem ich zakażenia trzema patogenami (Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Anaplasma phagocytophilum i Babesia microti).

The aim of the study was to determine the relative activity of Ixodes ricinus ticks in various forest sites of the Lublin macroregion, and to identify the relationships between the relative activity of ticks and the degree of their infection with three pathogens (Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Anaplasma phagocytophilum and Babesia microti). The highest activity of Ixodes ricinus ticks was found in deciduous and mixed forests with rich undergrowth, while in coniferous forests the activity was lower. This is related to different humidity and thermal conditions, as well as to the degree of isolation of a given biotope. The lack of correlation between the relative activity of ticks and the degree of their infection with the pathogens: Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato and Anaplasma phagocytophilum, as well as the presence of such a correlation in the case of Babesia microti, point to the differences in the preferences of those pathogens concerning reservoirs, various environmental requirements, as well as differing transmission mechanisms in the ecosystem.
